As members of the RISD campus community, employees enjoy access to the perks listed below:
Parking
RISD provides several parking lots on campus. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: RISD’s fee collection program for on-campus parking is currently suspended. However, employees must still obtain a parking tag from Public Safety before parking in a RISD lot or designated on-street space.

On-Campus Dining
Employees have access to all on-campus eating facilities, including:
- The Met (Quad)
- Portfolio Café (15 Westminster)
- Watermark Café (RISD Store)
- Carr Haus Café (Carr House)
Athletic Facilities/Fitness Centers at RISD and Brown University
All RISD employees can use the fitness center in RISD’s Catanzaro Student Center at no charge (note: these facilities are staffed by student employees and therefore are not available in the summer months). RISD employees and their dependents may also sign up for a recreational facility (gym) membership at Brown University. Learn more about fitness benefits for employees.
RISD Museum
All employees automatically become members of the RISD Museum. Your membership provides free access to view the museum’s many collections and revolving exhibits . Visit risdmuseum.org for more information.
RISD Store
Employees may receive a 10% discount on items purchased at risd:store with a valid RISD ID. Certain items may be excluded.
RISD Library
All employees can access Fleet Library at RISD, including use and checkout of materials (valid RISD ID card required).
